Restore evidence on a new device
Google owners can request a private restore download. Local import validates schema, paths, expansion limits and every declared hash before commit.
Estimate storage first and choose references-only if full originals do not fit.
On an ID collision, inspect the existing rental before choosing replace or duplicate.
Never interrupt a verified existing rental until the imported copy is completely validated.
