Preparing for pickup
Walk to a safe, well-lit position before starting. A slow exterior loop plus dashboard and interior views is more reliable than scattered detail shots.
Clean only the camera lens; do not alter marks on the vehicle before documenting them.
Keep the rental agreement available, but photograph it only as optional rental evidence.
If light or space is poor, capture a context view and a closer detail rather than skipping silently.
